1. Complete your profile

   • Update total experience, work history, references, CV, and certifications (recruiters rely on this information for searches)

   • Confirm your attendance through your profile. Mark "not attending" if you're unavailable.​​​

3. Connect with schools

   • Apply for open positions through the GRC database.

   • Connect with schools before the fair by reaching out to recruiters listed in the GRC database under school list.

5. Pick Up Your ID Card

   • Wear your orange lanyard at all times.​​

6. Register for Coaching

   • Sign up for in-person coaching with Heads of Schools on December 6, 2024.

7. Prepare Your CV

   • Carry printed copies of your CV for distribution and be ready with a brief introduction (30 seconds to 1 minute).​​

8. Dress Code

   • Formal attire is required for all interactions.

9. Interview Organizer Sheet

   • Print and bring your interview organizer sheet and confirm interview locations with recruiters before leaving their tables.​​

10. Communication

    • For communication, use email or LinkedIn’s instant chat, as it's often easier (notify recruiters that you will be reaching out to them on LinkedIn).

    • Note that there are no on-site mailboxes.​​

11. Secured a Job?

    • Hide your profile in "Settings" and inform the schools. Update your email to personal if using a school email.

    • If you used a school account, switch to alumni status and update to your personal email. Partners should do the same for linked accounts.​​

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2024 (DUBAI TIME)​

• 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM - Candidate ID Pickup (Outside Palm Meeting Room)

• 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM - Coaching session led by School Leaders (Palm Meeting Room)

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2024 (DUBAI TIME)

• 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM - Candidate ID Pickup (Outside Menara Ballroom)

• 8:30 AM to 8:45 AM - GRC Welcome, Announcements and Fair opening by GRC Executive Director (Outside Menara Ballroom)

• 8:45 AM to 11:30 AM - Interview Signup with schools (Menara Ballroom)

       This is the only time to sign-up for interviews.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2024 (DUBAI TIME)

• Interview with schools: Schools will set their own interview schedules and notify candidates accordingly. Interviews will be conducted on December 7 and 8, 2024, based on the schedule determined by each school.​

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Candidates are required to wear your name badge at all times. Candidates without an ID badge will not be permitted at the venue.

• GRC will not provide any meals.

• GRC will not provide parking at the Double Tree by Hilton.

• We are a Green Fair (paperless). No Fair printouts will be distributed.

• You can print and bring copies of your resume and the interview organizer sheet. Candidates can use the business center at the Double Tree by Hilton for printing.

• GRC Fair Dubai Floor Plans. (The GRC floor plans for Bangkok and Dubai are subject to change and will be updated weekly until the fair dates. Page 1 contains the Bangkok floor plan, and Page 2 features the Dubai floor plan.)

• During the Fair, candidates should communicate with recruiting schools via email. There are no mail boxes. Recruiter emails are listed in the GRC database.

• You will receive a Username and Password for Wifi access at the Double Tree by Hilton.

​​​​ESSENTIAL STEPS FOR RECRUITERS TO PREPARE FOR THE FAIR​

1. Complete your school profile 

   • Ensure all information on your school profile is updated and comprehensive.

   • This helps candidates gain a complete overview of your school, from compensation packages to inclusivity practices. Accurate profiles are essential as they link directly to open vacancies, giving candidates the insights they need to make informed decisions about joining your school.

2. Sign up for the Fair

   • Be sure to register for the fair through your school profile settings.

   • If your school is not attending, please mark it as "not attending."

   • Once registered, make sure to add recruiters who will be attending the fair by clicking their name under recruiters and mark them as attending. This step is essential for tracking attendance numbers and preparing ID cards for each recruiter attending.

3. Connect with Candidates

   • Reach out to candidates through the GRC database and add candidates to your open positions.

   • You will be able to use the attending fair filter to see candidates attending. View your open positions here.

4. ID Card Pickup 

   • Upon arrival at the GRC table, please provide your school name and first name as registered in our database and present a school or government ID for identity verification.

   • Remember to wear your blue lanyard at all times. You may also pick up ID cards for all recruiters in your school.

5. Sign Up for Coaching

   • Register for in-person candidate coaching on December 6, 2024, to meet with candidates. (Recruiter Signup Link)

6. Plan you meetings

   • Strategize to meet all candidates at the fair, considering your options for both the next school year and future opportunities.

7. Dress Code

   • Dress formally.

8. Interview Organizer Sheet 

   • Print and bring your interview organizer sheet, and confirm interview locations with candidates before they leave the table.

9. Email Communication

   • Since there will be no post office facility at the fair, plan to communicate with candidates via email (LinkedIn messaging is another way you could chat instantly if you agree with the Candidate beforehand)

10. Closing a vacancy

    • When you close a vacancy be sure to email all candidates that applied for the job and change the status of the vacancy to closed.​​​​​

• 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM - Recruiter ID Pickup and Booth Setup (Outside Menara Ballroom) 

• 8:30 AM to 8:45 AM - GRC Welcome, Announcements and Fair opening by GRC Executive Director (Outside Menara Ballroom) 

• 8:45 AM to 11:30 AM - Interview Signup with schools (Menara Ballroom)

       This is the only time to sign-up for interviews.

• The main ballroom will be available exclusively on December 7, 2024, from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm for conducting interviews. For Sunday, schools are requested to arrange alternative locations for interviews, such as their rooms, suites, meeting rooms, or the hotel's coffee shop.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2024 (DUBAI TIME)

• Interview with Candidates: Schools will determine their schedule for interviews and inform candidates. Interviews will take place on December 7 and 8, 2024 as scheduled by the interviewing school. Schools can use the main ballroom, Cafe or their rooms for interviews.

• The main ball room will be available only on 7th December 2024 from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm for interviews.
